Staircase – street art in Barcelona | Art Is Trash

Who is behind Art Is Trash?

This clip from 2023-06-27 shows a street piece by Art Is Trash, the project of Barcelona-based artist Francisco de Pájaro. Instead of a studio he uses the street, painting directly on discarded objects and often improvising with whatever lies nearby. His figures poke fun at throwaway culture, power and the established art world. The works are deliberately short-lived and usually vanish with the next garbage collection.
