Retirement – street art in Barcelona | Art Is Trash

Who is behind Art Is Trash?

Behind the name Art Is Trash stands Francisco de Pájaro, a street artist working in Barcelona – this video was published on 2023-09-27. Instead of a studio he uses the street, painting directly on discarded objects and often improvising with whatever lies nearby. That makes every figure a one-off: once the street is cleaned, it is gone, and often only videos like this one remain. With humour and provocation he comments on consumerism, waste, politics and the art market.
